All 4-year colleges require an ACT score for admission and for
consideration for scholarships from the college. Two year or junior colleges
do not require ACT score but will use them for placement in classes,
however, they will also use other test scores (such as AccuPlacer) that can
be taken at the college for no charge.

Includes reports for you, your high school, and up to four colleges (if codes are provided when you register). The $16.50 writing test fee is refundable on written request if you are absent on test day or switch to ACT (no writing) before testing begins.
ACT fee waivers
Students who qualify for free or reduced lunches, receive ADC, are in foster care or qualify for low-income federal programs may test twice for free during their junior or senior year. See your counselor, to get a waiver to test for free.
