Congratulations to our student activities participants of the week: Quiz Bowl: Ben Wuertz has earned our Quiz Kid of the Week Award! Ben is always one of the first students to practice, is willing to share his knowledge and processes with his teammates, and studies outside of school! Coming into this season, he brings a huge knowledge-base to our incredibly talented group, and he has certainly emerged as one of our leaders on our A Team. An exciting season lies ahead of us because of scholars like Ben! Wrestling: Jesse Ball Shows up ready to go and works hard every day. He is a great example of what a Viking middle school wrestler should be! Congratulations young men!!

This weekend Central Heights had 7 students travel to Manhattan for the 30th annual Kansas State Honor Band Clinic. The event was attended by 600 kids from around the state. Students auditioned on Friday for seats in one of the 6 Bands and performed a Concert for friends and family Sunday afternoon. All of our students did fantastic!
