It might be cold outside, but the baby quail decided to make their debut today! The Hunter Safety class is hatching these quail! It is amazing how they make it in nature once you see how tiny they are! Great experience for the students! Can’t wait for the kids to meet them!

6th Grade Scientists are working hard creating a scale model of the solar system. With this lesson, they learned how to take something that is massive and hard to understand measuring, and bring it down into a smaller, more manageable size. They were also able to practice measurements of inches, centimeters, diameter of an object, conversions from kilometers to inches, and being creative with different objects to use for the planets!

Eighth graders cheering away their bad habits! Following a lesson on Rhetorical Analysis students incorporated their knowledge of Ethos, Logos, and Pathos to write breakup letters with things such as procrastination and phones. After their letters were shared the class cheered them away with some sparkling grape juice!
