That was the middle school girls by the way!

Middle school conclude their season with a loss to West Franklin in the FHJL tournament.

The purpose of ESSER III is to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students by mitigating learning losses, supporting social-emotional needs, and ensuring safe in-person learning for students. We will submit an application for ESSER III funds to the Kansas Department of Education which must include input from a variety of stakeholders on how best to use these funds. Your input will impact how ESSER III funds are spent across the school district. Please take a few minutes to provide your feedback. Thank you in advance for your input and participation. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfxuOomfZKmn74p8Y5iA-uPkS8rxa6B8nI7DtcpTnDBcxE8Qg/viewform

Central Heights will be back in session tomorrow, January 19, 2022.

Dear Viking Family:
As per the recommendations of KDHE and KSDE, Central Heights will be suspending contract tracing. We will continue to test symptomatic individuals and anyone wishing to be tested. However, we will not test potential close contacts in classroom or extra-curricular settings unless they show symptoms.
KDHE officials would like us to remember that there is always the possibility of transmission in public spaces. Keeping that in mind, please make sure to monitor yourselves and your students for symptoms daily. If a student is experiencing symptoms, we ask they stay home until they are symptom-free. Anyone showing symptoms at school needs to be tested immediately.
Thank You
