No school tomorrow. The risk on the icy roads combined with the wind and cold temperatures is too great. Be safe please.

We have been given notice of some official Road Closings in the district due to the poor road conditions.
Because of this, as well as the condition of the parking lots and sidewalks at the school, there are to be no activities at the school today.
This includes all Rec and community events as well as school groups.

Due to the forecast for tomorrow we are cancelling school tomorrow Thursday, February 7.
Be safe and stay warm.

CHES Fourth Grade Parents,
You should have received a letter in the mail explaining the NAEP (National Assessment of Academic Progress) testing taking place on February 12. Each fourth grader will be tested in either math or reading.
Also known as The Nation’s Report Card, NAEP has provided important information about how students are performing academically since 1969.
Results are reported for groups of students with similar characteristics (e.g., gender, race and ethnicity, school location), not individual students.
Students just need to give us their best effort on the NAEP on February 12! If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Collins.

A little ice is no match for the CH Scrapers! AKA, Mr Winkleman and Mr Prosser. ❄️💧💪🏻

It's so cool to have the opportunity to watch students do amazing things. These are the County Spelling Bee participants. They all have SO much to be proud of. 🐝🐝

All CH candidates are eliminated after Round 5. Three finalists remain.

One speller from another school tried for a championship word, but misspelled "morgue." Nash is back in.

Nash is the lone CH representative for Round 4. Seven candidates total.
