Have you seen what goes on in the middle school STEAM class yet? They are designing remote-controlled robot insects and catching fish on the SMART board that they created, all with Nintendo Labo! So cool!!

The 8th grade enrollment meeting scheduled for February 21st at 7:00 PM is being postponed and we will let you know when it has been rescheduled.

100th day of school will now be celebrated on Friday.

Due to school being cancelled today, the Middle School Quiz Bowl practice will be held tomorrow (Thursday) after school until 4:30.

The Central Heights Elementary Chili Supper and Silent Auction will be held Friday, February 1. Serving begins at 5:00 P.M. The auction items will be displayed in the lobby outside the Ike Cearfoss gym doors.

Due to anticipated extremely cold temperatures there will be no school in Central Heights tomorrow.

Principal's Honor Students enjoy lunch at Wendy's
Nine 5th graders ate lunch at Wendy's in Ottawa on January 18 for their second quarter grades. The scholars had a grade point average of 3.3 - 4.0. Lots of smiles and fun!

These writers were presented a medal and cash award for their essays at the MLK Day celebration on January 20 at the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium.

The first place winners, Aracely and Austyn read their essays to the audience. The guest speaker for the event was the president of Ottawa University, Dr. Reggies Wenyika.
