🌟 Senior Spotlight Class of 2024: Let's shine a light on Carter Kimball! Carter has been an active participant in various activities and organizations at Central Heights High School.
Throughout his time here, Carter has dedicated himself to Basketball, Baseball, Band, FFA, NHS, Central Heights Clay Busters, Scholars Bowl, and 4-H.
As Carter looks forward to his future, he plans to attend Pratt Community College for two years before transferring to South Dakota State University to pursue his bachelor's degree. His impressive list of scholarships and awards, including the Lane/Potawatomi Ruritans scholarship, Friends of the FFA scholarship, and Don Davis memorial scholarship, speaks volumes about his dedication and achievements.
Reflecting on his high school journey, Carter treasures the time spent with friends and the numerous FFA events he participated in.

As Marcius reflects on his time at Central Heights, he cherishes the moments spent with friends in FFA competitions, Ag shop, automotive, and after-school gym sessions.

🎉 Get ready for an unforgettable evening at Central Height’s upcoming Prom on Saturday, April 13, 2024!
Here are the important details:
🕕 Promenade (walk-in) begins at 6PM.
🍽 Dinner service begins at 7PM.
🕺Dancing starts at 8PM.
🚌 Transportation will be provided to Fusion Alley for After Prom.
⏰ After Prom concludes at 2AM, students will be bussed back to pick up their vehicles.

🎵🌟 We have some incredible news to share! 🌟🎵
This past weekend, our talented Central Heights students took the stage at the Regional Solo & Small Ensemble Festival in Independence, KS, and they were fantastic! With 11 students performing solos and five small ensembles showcasing their skills, it was a day filled with beautiful music.
We're thrilled to announce that 8 of our events have qualified for State! 🏆 Huge congratulations to all our State Qualifiers: Swing Group (Liley Elsasser, Jenna Jumet, Alyssa Welch, Charli Smith, Karley Davis, Maisy Moore, Gabe McMechan), Charli Smith - Vocal Solo, Jenna Jumet - Vocal Solo, Treble Quartet (Liley Elsasser, Alyssa Welch, Charli Smith, Maisy Moore, they received a score of 79 out of a possible 80 points for the performance!), Brass Trio - (Gabe McMechan, Russell Reed, Jenna Jumet), Alyssa Welch - Clarinet Solo, Gabrial McMechan - Horn Solo, and Russell Reed - Trombone Solo.

Our State Qualifiers will head to Gypsum, Southeast Saline (Salina), on Friday, April 26, for the 3A State Solo & Small Ensemble Festival on Saturday, April 27. 🎶









🎓 Senior Spotlight Class of 2024: Let's give it up for Emma Cubit! Throughout Central Heights High School, Emma has been a standout student and athlete, leaving her mark in various activities, including Cross Country, FFA, Cheer, NHS, Softball, Basketball, and Track.
As Emma gears up for the next chapter of her journey, she sets her sights on Allen Community College, where she'll hit the ground running as a member of the Cross Country & Track and Field teams. Emma aims to complete an associate degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine or Ag Business, paving the way for her transfer to Kansas State University to continue her education.
Her time at Central Heights has been filled with cherished memories and valuable lessons. “The most meaningful experience I have had at Central Heights was my time on the Cross Country team. There was never a dull moment at practice or meets, and I wouldn't trade my teammates for the world.”
