Mrs. Nichols' Child Development Foundations class recently undertook a wonderful project with our Pre-K students. In preparation for Veteran's Day, they helped the little ones create American Flag crafts. These crafts were used as decorations at our Veteran's Day Breakfast, adding a special touch to the event.

📣Let’s hear it for our East Central District Honorees! 🎶 Central Heights had six incredibly talented high school Band and Choir students travel to Gardner-Edgerten High School, where they auditioned for the prestigious East Central District Honor Ensembles. All six of our auditioning students were selected for the District Band and Choir! This is a testament to their hard work and talent, as they successfully competed against some of the best musicians and vocalists in the state. A special shoutout to Gabriel McMechan for making school history! He is the first student from Central Heights to be selected for the Top Gold Band, an honor shared with only one other student from a 1-4A school this year. Mark your calendars for December 2nd. They'll be performing with their Honor Ensembles at the ECKMEA District Convention. There will be more details about times and locations as the event approaches. But that's not all! We also have a group of talented Middle School students selected for the District Middle School Choir and Band! Like their high school counterparts, these young musicians have shown exceptional skill and dedication. They, too, will be showcasing their talents at the District Convention on December 2nd. Congratulations to all of the honorees!

Save the date! Seniors and their parents/guardians are invited. Each date will have a slightly different focus due to the timing of the updated FAFSA for 24-25, but all financial aid and scholarship questions are welcome at either!
