Exciting News! Central Heights Joins Three Rivers League
Central Heights officially accepted the invitation to join the Three Rivers League (TRL) during a recent USD 288 Board of Education meeting. This transition will bring numerous benefits and opportunities to our school community.
With this move, our teams will have less travel time. The high school teams will now have only two trips of 90+ miles, reducing travel time, and our middle school teams will also benefit from eliminating long trips, which is especially important as they play on school nights. The TRL has agreed to schedule longer high school trips on Fridays, accommodating our students' needs.
Central Heights has a rich history in the TRL and shares strong rivalries within the league.
We are thrilled to begin this new chapter! The 2023-24 school year will be our final one in the Flint Hills League (FHL) and starting in the 2024-2025 academic year, we are excited to return to the TRL.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to our TRL debut! Go Vikings!
