📣Good Luck at FFA National Competition!🎉This afternoon, our very own Dairy Cattle judging team walked the halls, and met with resounding cheers from the entire school as they embark on their journey to the FFA Nationals! Kudos to Macy Cubit, Abigail Roullett, Kamberlyn Rubick, and Mitchell Snow who clinched the title as state champions in Dairy Cattle last spring. We couldn't be prouder and can't wait to see you shine at the FFA National Competition. Go Vikings!
And talk about a day full of champions - we cheered on our Cross Country State Champions this morning and our FFA State Champions this afternoon. It was a GREAT day to be a VIKING! 💙💛

🧡👻 The spooky scary Middle School STUCO kids (and Mrs. Oram) sure know how to throw one amazing Halloween dance! The costumes were great, the food was perfect, the photo booth was hopping, and the dance floor was rocking! Thank you, Mrs. Oram and our Viking Leadership Council, for working so hard for us!

STARBASE DAY -Students worked with straw rockets to learn how mass and force react to each other.
STARBASE DAY 1- Students learned about the building blocks of matter, molecular formulas, determining compounds, and elements.
STARBASE DAY 1-Students learned about the engineering design process while collaborating with their group to build a safety restraint system.

Cornhole Tournament Alert!
Two of our seniors, Colton Caswell and Baker Moore are hosting a Cornhole Tournament for their senior project, and we need YOU to join in the fun!

💰 Cost? $20/team
🎯 Why? All proceeds will help fund the Class of 2024 Senior Trip.

I want to thank Jon Pretz, Dairy Nutritionist for Hubbard Feeds for working with the National FFA Dairy team on the dairy nutrition team activity. The kid’s heads hurt with how much information he taught them. This is the most challenging portion of the competition, but I have no doubt that our team is better prepared after tonight. Central Heights FFA earned the opportunity to represent Kansas in this competition by winning the state event in May.
Central Heights is excited to announce we will have our first-ever trap team this year!
