Congratulations to the Central Heights Swing Group for their fantastic performance at the Large Ensemble State Festival at Prairie View in LaCygne. They received the highest rating for the festival, a 1 Rating, defined as Outstanding! This is a remarkable accomplishment, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Swing Group members for their dedication and hard work. It has been 5 years since the Choir received a 1 rating at Large State, and it is only the 3rd time in school history that both the Band and Choir have received a 1st division rating at Large State. We are proud of the outstanding efforts put in by these talented musicians, and we want to give a shout-out to Ms. Selenke for her hard work!

Hunter safety went out and shot bows today. Also on our nature walk we got to see a pair of quail on school grounds! Probably a breeding pair, great to know they are still here on the school property! (Hard to see in the picture.)
