Class of 2020: Madison Bridges is the daughter of Dana and Kevin Bridges. During her time at Central Heights High School, Madison has participated in Student Council, Key Club, Spanish Club, FFA, Cross Country, and Track. Madison has maintained a perfect 4.0 G.P.A. and was recognized as a Kansas Honors Scholar earlier this year. Madison plans to attend Kansas State University in the fall to major in Animal Science. She plans to one day become a veterinarian. Madison will always remember getting 3rd place with her team in 2A State Cross Country. If Madison could give any advice to the underclassmen it would be to wash your hands and vote for Bernie Sanders. Congratulations Madison! We are so proud of you and all you have accomplished!

Unfortunately my phone call this evening cut off to some of you at a bad time. I was in the middle of stating we have an employee that was tested for COVID-19 but the results are not back yet. The employee has been away from work beyond the 14 day quarantine period and none of the coworkers have any symptoms. Even if the test comes back positive it is highly unlikely it spread to others associated with the school. We will share more information when it is available.

Throughout her time at Central Heights High School Jessica has been active in Dance, FFA, 4-H, FCCLA, Wrestling Manager, Key Club, Swing Group, Spanish Club, Pep Club and Volleyball. Jessica plans to attend Highland Community College in the fall. She plans to graduate with a Biology degree and continue her education to become an X-Ray Technician. Jessica has been awarded a Choir Scholarship for full books and tuition from Highland Community College. Her most memorable experiences at Central Heights include spending most of her days with her best friend. If Jessica could give any piece of advice to the underclassmen it would be to soak in all of your last moments of high school. You never know when it might be cut short. Congratulations Jessica! We can’t wait to see what you will accomplish!
