The fees for Driver Education is 134 dollars for any current CH student. If you are not a current student the fee is 204 dollars.

Driver Education class time will be from 8-10 am. Driving times are 7-8 am, 10-12, and 12-2. Depending on how many students this could change.

Drivers Ed: We will be offering drivers ed at Central Heights to anyone who is at least 14 years old by June 7th. The class will run from June 1st to June 30th. If you have any questions contact Kelli Brown or Jason Brown. Be looking for more information in the coming weeks.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Winners from CHES (more pictures coming!) Congratulations to our winners: Kelsie Wilson. 3rd Grade, won first place. Presten Holstine placed second and Anna Reed won third place in the 4th Grade Division. Fifth Grade Winners were Ethan Kraft, first place; Hal Higbie, second place; and Anabel Risch, third place. The students were presented their medals and cash awards at the Franklin County MLK Program. The event was held January 19 at 2:00 PM at the Ottawa Municipal Auditorium. Ethan and Kelsie read their essays to the audience.

Central Heights FFA earned 6th place at the ECD Public Speaking LDE today. Luke Burkdoll was 9th in the Freshman Division Kierstyn Blaufuss was 1st and Emily VanLeiden was 7th in the Sophomore Division Cheyenne Higbie was 6th in the Senior Division and 7th in Extemporaneous Public Speaking. Also competing but coming up a little shy of the top ten was Conner Peel, Aiden Welch, Christian Johnson, and Alex Cannady.
