Due to weather conditions and some damage to the New Horizon Ranch, we are rescheduling the field to next school year.
CHES 1st & 2nd Grade Parents,
Tentatively, the students will visit New Horizon Ranch on Friday, May 10. We will let you all know by Thursday, May 9 if the field trip is on! There will be no sack lunches.
Mrs. Evans - 2019 Outstanding Early Literacy Teacher
Mrs. Evans was recognized as the Outstanding Early Literacy Teacher for Central Heights Elementary.
She is one of 58 teachers across Kansas receiving this Kansas Reading Roadmap award. Mrs. Evan's daughter, Sydney and Mrs. Croci (KRR Program Coordinator) presented her with a certificate and gifts.
The FFA Dairy Cattle Judging Team with members Faith Mildfelt (4th), Jayden Lee, Tyler Silvis and Addey Froggatte placed 8th in the State.
The FFA Agriculture Technology & Mechanics Team with team members Mason McCurry (10th), Jesse Collins, Cauy Newell and Dylan Kimball placed 5th in the Kansas.
