BIG NEWS from Central Heights! Junior, Charli Smith has made Central Heights history by being selected for the 2023-24 KMEA All-State Mixed Ensemble! Charli is our FIRST vocalist to join the KMEA All-State Choir!
Back in November, Charli competed against the finest in the East Central KMEA, including Johnson County, Miami County, and Osage students. She was judged alongside the top talents from 7 districts across the state. And Charli was among the BEST tenors in the ENTIRE state!
Mark your calendars: Charli will be performing at the KMEA In-Service Workshop in Wichita, Saturday, February 24th. The treble choir and mixed choir are performing at the same time with treble going first at 11:30 am. You won’t want to miss it!
A special shoutout to Maisy Moore and Jenna Jumet, who also auditioned and did fantastic at the Districts in November.
Congratulations, Charli!

We’re calling this day… organized chaos 🤪 in 2nd Grade!

☃️RUN, RUN, RUN,
As far as you can.
You better watch out
If you have a SNOWMAN!☃️
Today, the staff participated in a very non-competitive, innocent little game called, "Do You Have A Snowman In Your Pocket?"
There were absolutely no hurt feelings, people making up their own rules, or alliances being formed... 🙂
Here are a few of the cheaters....I MEAN WINNERS! 😂
In all seriousness, though, we have the absolute best of the best here at Central Heights! What an amazingly FUN group of teachers and staff members!!!!

Tonight's the Night! Join us for an evening of music as the Central Heights Music Department presents the Winter Band Concert. Come support our talented musicians starting at 6:30 p.m. tonight!

Elementary always has a ton of fun in PE with Ms. Percy!

Central Heights Middle School agriculture students competed today in the Perry-Lacompton Middle School Aggie Day. We had several in the top 20 individually and placed first as a team.

Santa showed up in PE again today. :)

More Deck the Stalls fun
