We are thrilled to announce that last week, the Central Heights Concert Band performed outstandingly at the Large Ensemble State Festival at Prairie View in LaCygne. The Concert Band received a SUPERIOR 1, with all 3 judges giving them a 1 rating for their performance. This is a historic moment for Central Heights, as it has been 6 years since the Band received a 1st division at Large State. It is only the 3rd time in school history that both the Band and Choir have received a 1st division rating at Large State! We are proud of the hard work and dedication put in by these students, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to them and to Mrs. Cannady on this amazing achievement!

Hunter safety went out and shot bows today. Also on our nature walk we got to see a pair of quail on school grounds! Probably a breeding pair, great to know they are still here on the school property! (Hard to see in the picture.)

Hey everyone! 👋 Here's a fun tip from the Early Childhood Committee to brighten up your day - let's have some fun with RAINBOWS! Create a rainbow fruit skewer full of all the colors - it's a tasty and healthy treat that your little ones will love! 🍉🥝 And why not take the fun outside and go on a color scavenger hunt? 🔍 Explore your backyard or local park and see how many colors you can find. It's a great way to learn about colors and get some fresh air too!

The Central Heights baseball team got to visit the birthplace of Walter Johnson, a famous baseball player from the past! Then we went to the River front park and enjoyed the scenery there! It was a great day for baseball and visiting new places! We are #CHstrong
