Alex Bellinger is the son of Aislyn and Kevin Bellinger. After graduation, Alex plans to attend Wichita State University to study film editing and cinematography where he will also participate in ESports. After college, Alex would like to travel the U.S. and parts of Europe and Asia until he finds a place to settle down. One of his most meaningful experiences here at Central Heights has been making his photosynthesis song/music video for Biology. If Alex could offer any advice to the underclassmen it would be “Don’t feel pressured to take any one stance on a subject. Innovation is cultivated from concept, concept is sourced from perspective.” Congratulations Alex! We are excited to see what your future holds!
Noora Ahman is the daughter of Johanna and Juha Ahman. Noora is from Finland and during her time here in the United States has been a member of Darla and Ed Ouellette’s family. Noora was a member of both the Cheer and Basketball teams. Her future plans include returning to Finland and finishing school. Some of her most meaningful experiences here have revolved around her athletic teams. If Noora could offer any advice to the underclassmen it would be “Be the best version of yourself and don’t bring other people down.” Congratulations Noora! We are grateful that you have made Central Heights your home for this past year.
To say that the Central Heights music programs sounded fantastic tonight is a vast understatement! Mrs. Cannady and the students put in a great deal of work and tonight it showed!

Going into the Prairie View meet, we have had gone with a heavy work load for most athletes all season long but decided to go a little light on events for some after doubling up with meets this week. With the lighter workload, the team was able respond very well, racking up another 10 personal best performances. Five of them coming in the field events is a good boost for the throwers/jumpers and keeps them hungry for more. On the track, the boys 4x800 lowered their time for the third straight meet and Lily has been adjusting very quickly as she has shifted to some shorter races. At this point in the season, recovery becomes even more important than usual and the next meet at NE Arma will be one final test before the championship season begins.
