The Central Heights Middle School FLL Robotics Team competed virtually on Saturday, March 6 against several schools in the greater Kansas City area. We received the Breakthrough Award for "confidence and capability in both the Robot Game and Innovation Project, and are a shining example of excellent Core Values". Although we didn't score high enough to go on to the next level, we understand that what we discover is more important than what we win. FRESHMAN SIGNING DAY 3/11/21
On Thursday March 11th we will have a Freshman signing day for
Baseball at 3:00 in the High School Commons Area. The freshman will be
signing the Viking Guidelines Contract to show their commitment to the
Viking Baseball Program! There will be cookies and punch after the
signing for everyone to enjoy! This is a big deal, as being a Central
Heights Viking baseball player is a HUGE commitment and we have very
high expectations of our STUDENT athletes. This is a special day as this
is the player telling everyone involved that he is 100% committed to the
team and will give it his all! We will take pictures and a short video to share
so everyone can enjoy since we will not be able to invite parents this year.
