CHMS boys basketball beats Mission Valley in the FHJL tournament to end the season!
CHMS middle school girls basketball lose to Northern Heights in the FHJL tournament. This was their final game of the season.
Middle school girls and boys both lose in the 2nd round of the FHJL tournament. Girls will play at 9:00 and boys 10:30 on Saturday at Chase County.
Based upon the forecast there will be NO SCHOOL TOMORROW, Friday, Jan 17.
Central Heights FFA earned 6th place at the ECD Public Speaking LDE today.
Luke Burkdoll was 9th in the Freshman Division
Kierstyn Blaufuss was 1st and Emily VanLeiden was 7th in the Sophomore Division
Cheyenne Higbie was 6th in the Senior Division and 7th in Extemporaneous Public Speaking.
Also competing but coming up a little shy of the top ten was Conner Peel, Aiden Welch, Christian Johnson, and Alex Cannady.

Mrs. Lickteig's third grade class from 2018-19 are working along with Representative Mark Samsel to bring a bill before the Kansas Legislature to make the watermelon a state fruit. This was aired on KCTV5 on January 13, 2020.
