Class of 2020: Tyler Stevenson is the son of Kendall Stevenson and Beverly Hines. During his time at Central Heights High School, Tyler participated in Cross Country, Track, Basketball, Spanish Club, Pep Club, and Honor Flight. After graduation, Tyler plans to attend Ottawa University to major in finance. Tyler will also be a member of the OU Cross Country and Track teams in the fall. Tyler is a decorated runner, earning several awards during his time in high school including a 2018 2A XC Team Champion, 2x state runner-up as a team, Academic All-State selection for the 2019 Cross Country season by the KCCTFCA, 3x individual state medalist for both XC and Track and Field, and the All Herald boys cross-country athlete of the year for both 2018 and 2019. Tyler’s most memorable experiences at Central Heights include going to state Cross Country and Track. Tyler’s advice to the underclassmen would be to fight the system and follow your heart. Congratulations Tyler! We are so proud of you!

Class of 2020: Tyler Silvis is the son of Rhonda Silvis and Jason Julich. During his time at Central Heights High School, he participated in FFA (2 years as an officer), and served as a Baseball manager. After graduation Tyler plans to enter the workforce as a general laborer. Tyler’s most meaningful experiences at Central Heights have been his time as an FFA officer. Serving as an officer has truly taught him the meaning of leadership. Tyler’s advice to the underclassmen would be to stay focused, work hard, and hold your head up. Congratulations Tyler! We are so proud of the person you have become!

This Friday, May 15th, 8:00pm - 8:20pm we will turn on the stadium lights at Central Heights. We want to invite students, parents, and community members to drive through our parking lot, staff will be there and are excited to see everyone one last time this school year. Please keep in mind that we need to adhere to all state and county distancing guidelines, so please stay in your cars and do not congregate. We hope to see everyone this Friday!!

Class of 2020: Mathew Sellars is the son of Margo Bell. During his time at Central Heights High School, he was a member of the Football team and participated in Art Club. After graduation, Mathew plans to attend Emporia State University to pursue a degree in History Education. Mathew’s most memorable moment at Central Heights was his first day during 8th hour when Jonathan crawled on the floor with a plant in front of his face singing the mission impossible theme song. Mathew’s advice to the underclassmen would be if you do your homework everything will be fine. Congratulations Mathew! We are so proud of you!

Class of 2020: Ryder Roll is the son of Stacy and Dan Roll. During his time at Central Heights High School, Ryder participated in Track and Field, Scholars Bowl, FBLA, Spanish Club, and Yearbook. After graduation, Ryder plans to attend the University of Kansas to major in pharmacy. Ryder plans to pursue a career in retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy. Ryder has been recognized as a Kansas Honors Scholar and received the Governor’s Scholar Award. He has also earned the title of Valedictorian for completion of high school with a perfect 4.0 G.P.A. When asked what his most meaningful memory has been during his time at Central Heights, Ryder responded that it was decorating for prom his junior year. He loved the way his class acted like a family and spent the whole day working towards the same goal. Ryder’s advice to underclassmen is to take chances. You'll never know when you'll regret not taking an opportunity. Congratulations Ryder! We cannot wait to see what you will accomplish!

Class of 2020: Hailee Riemer is the daughter of Tom and Katie Riemer. During her time at Central Heights High School, Hailee participated in Volleyball, Basketball, Cheer, FFA, FBLA, Key Club, Pep Club, Swing Group, Honor Flight, FOR Club, and Spanish Club. After graduation, Hailee plans to attend Neosho County Community college to begin working towards an Education degree. Hailee plans to one day get a Master’s degree in Education and be an English teacher. Hailee has received a Service Scholarship and a Cheerleading Scholarship from Neosho County totaling $1,650. Hailee’s most meaningful experience at Central Heights will be how nice and caring the faculty has been. She loved going to a small school where you knew everyone and your friends became family. If Hailee could give any advice to the underclassmen it would be to have fun while you can! You never know if your year will be cut short! Congratulations Hailee! We are so proud of who you have become!
