Hello community partners, I'm writing to ask your help in spreading the word - Elizabeth Layton Center is open for business and here to help! We are able to offer safe options for behavioral health treatment during this time of COVID crisis. I think many people in our community are struggling right now with anxiety, depression, substance cravings and other behavioral health issues. Our world is filled with unprecedented stressors and losses. However, access to ELC services has never been lower than the past month. My concern is that people may be unaware that ELC is open for business, and that we are able to offer treatment options that are both safe and effective. ELC now offers behavioral health services through Telemedicine (e.g. telephone and televideo methods.) This is very convenient for families, and allows for safe and effective treatment of mental health and substance use needs. New patient admissions, Crisis services, Therapy, Medication management, Peer Support, Case Management and Psychosocial services can all be access via Telemedicine! We also continue to offer face-to-face services (using COVID precautions) for those who are unable to participate by telephone or televideo. For safety reasons, our doors are now locked, but the public can still access our services if needed. They can phone first, or if they arrive on site our compassionate staff will walk them through the process. As always, community residents without insurance are eligible for sliding scale fee based services. Crisis services remain available 24/7.
