If there was anything in the entire world that these two won't help out with, we have yet to find out. Mrs. Cardell and Mrs. Matile do it ALL!!
Today, they helped out with the gigantic task of setting up and then cleaning up for our staff Thanksgiving feast (in record time, I'm sure if it), they delivered meals, they helped facilitate Thanksgiving trivia in the middle school, and they did it ALL with a smile on their faces and Thanksgiving in their hearts.
Gals, we are SO thankful for you and for all of our staff members who are ALWAYS willing to jump in and help. There is so very much to be thankful for when you're a Central Heights Viking! 🩵💛🩵

3rd Annual Mini-Course Day!
Central Heights just wrapped its 3rd annual Mini-Course Day and it was a great success! Our middle and high school students were amazing leaders, guiding our elementary kids through a morning packed with fun and learning! From crafting beautiful bracelets and vibrant tie-dye creations to rock painting and fishing - there was no shortage of smiles. A huge shoutout to all the students who led these activities and to the staff members who helped with planning and hosting!

Elementary Breakfast Tailgating! #CHstrong
Mrs. Nichols' Child Development Foundations class recently undertook a wonderful project with our Pre-K students. In preparation for Veteran's Day, they helped the little ones create American Flag crafts. These crafts were used as decorations at our Veteran's Day Breakfast, adding a special touch to the event.
📣Let’s hear it for our East Central District Honorees! 🎶
Central Heights had six incredibly talented high school Band and Choir students travel to Gardner-Edgerten High School, where they auditioned for the prestigious East Central District Honor Ensembles.
All six of our auditioning students were selected for the District Band and Choir! This is a testament to their hard work and talent, as they successfully competed against some of the best musicians and vocalists in the state.
A special shoutout to Gabriel McMechan for making school history! He is the first student from Central Heights to be selected for the Top Gold Band, an honor shared with only one other student from a 1-4A school this year.
Mark your calendars for December 2nd. They'll be performing with their Honor Ensembles at the ECKMEA District Convention. There will be more details about times and locations as the event approaches.
But that's not all! We also have a group of talented Middle School students selected for the District Middle School Choir and Band! Like their high school counterparts, these young musicians have shown exceptional skill and dedication. They, too, will be showcasing their talents at the District Convention on December 2nd.
Congratulations to all of the honorees!
