JV and Varsity girls wrestling are competing at Caney Valley this evening, and our Vikings are giving it their all. If you are following along from home or out on the road, send them some good vibes and cheer them on from afar. Let’s support our squad as they battle through. Go Vikings.
Basketball season tips off tonight at Central Heights!
Our Vikings host McLouth at 4:30 PM, with games running in both gyms. The JV Girls will start things off in the Ike Cearfoss Gym, followed by the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys. The little gym will run the JV Boys once the JV Girls finish.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Bring the energy and let’s fire up the season. Vikings, let’s go!

Central Heights Middle School takes on Northeast Arma right here at home, and we would love to see our families fill the gym. Games begin at 4:30, and both courts will be moving.
The Little Gym will run the JV girls, followed by a C team boys scrimmage. The Ike Cearfoss Gym will host the JV boys, then the varsity girls and varsity boys. If you want great energy on a Thursday night, this is the place to be!

Monday brings middle school basketball at home against Marmaton Valley starting at 4:30 PM. On Tuesday, our older students take the lead for Mini Course Day as they teach and guide our elementary kids in fun hands-on sessions!
Thanksgiving Break runs Wednesday through Friday and we hope everyone enjoys the time with family and friends.

Today a pack of prospective Panthers previewed the many programs Neosho has to offer. From automated mannequins to synthetic cadavers and HVAC labs to ultrasounds these Vikings' eyes were opened to a whole world of educational pathways to the workforce - available at their fingertips!

If you are coming from Hwy 169 please note the bridge outside of LeRoy is out. Below are detour options around that closure.
There is a gravel road prior to the closure on Trefoil road that takes you around the closure to the north side of town. Otherwise you can turn north on Wayside and then west on 12th to Shetland. Turn left on Shetland and go south into town.

A fresh week is rolling in, and there is plenty to look forward to at Central Heights.
It was a busy day in the HS Lighthouse world! Members split up in smaller teams to deliver lessons to various age groups throughout the year. This morning a panel of students delivered a lesson to 8th graders, while another team this afternoon tackled "Recess Buddies" duty with the Kindergarteners. Or maybe the Kindergarteners tackled them? Either way, memories were made, and lessons were learned!
Congratulations to the newest inductees to the Central Heights Chapter of the National Honor Society. Scholarship, Leadership, and Character aside - this incoming class of inductees amassed in excess of 1000 hours of service to others before even starting their NHS journey tonight. We can't wait to see what more is to come when they put their heads together!
