Central Heights Music Students Shine at Spring Competitions
Central Heights music students continue to excel, earning top honors at their spring competitions!
For the third consecutive year—and making school history once again—the Central Heights Concert Band received a prestigious First Division (1) Rating, the highest possible, at the Large State Music Festival. Congratulations to all of our outstanding students—we are incredibly proud of your hard work and dedication!
The Central Heights Mixed Ensemble earned an Excellent II Rating this year at the Large State music Festival this year. They took on the two pieces to perform; Doraji arranged by Audrey Snyder and Cantate Domino by Mark Hayes. We are incredibly proud of their effort and work to adapting, caring and performing for this festival. It was difficult judging this year across all choir ensembles in the KSHSAA District, but these singers still conquered and continue to make a name for themselves. Congratulations again to these singers on a great season, may they continue to SING ON!
To hear these amazing musicians for yourself, mark your calendar for the spring band concert on Wednesday, April 23, at 6:30 PM, and the spring choir concert on Wednesday, April 30, at 6:30 PM.
